Beta firmware is available to download for the NGW-1 with additional conversions available and the ability to use the new NGW Config Tool to accurately set up an NGW-1 how you wish. Included in the additional conversions is support for the heavily requested HDT fast heading, DSC/DSE and many more.
To understand the conversions that have been added to the NGW-1, please download the new Conversion List attached to this article.
Note: Once the NGW-1 firmware has been updated, it cannot be changed back to the previous version. Active Research Ltd (Actisense) accepts no responsibility for any incidents while using beta firmware.

Instructions for how to update your firmware can be found in this
support article
A quick note on the configuring of conversions using Toolkit:
When enabling a conversion in one list, the equivalent will need to be
enabled in the other list. For example; if you tick the 'TX' box to
enable the transmission of DBT in the NMEA 0183 list, you must ensure
that the 'RX' box is ticked next to the Depth PGN in the NMEA 2000 list.
To find out what NMEA 2000 PGN is the equivalent of an NMEA 0183 sentence (or vice versa) please refer to the Conversion List available to download under the Attachments section below. The version number of that conversion list does not match the current beta firmware, but no new conversions have been added since the release of that list.
UPDATE (12/07/18): There is a known issue with this feature where the link between DSC and
DSE (which provides additional resolution, such as seconds data for lat
and long) is not working. The inclusion of DSC is an improvement on the
older firmware and still provides more information than was previously
possible.
