Configuring The EMU-1 with more than 1 Engine
A single EMU-1 can be used to monitor up to two engines, so long as they both share the same power supply. For installations where this is not the case, a dedicated EMU-1 will be needed for each engine. This article will explain how to set up your EMU-1 when using a single unit for two engines or multiple EMU-1 on the same NMEA 2000 network.

EMU-1 Engine Compatibility and Setup
In order to confirm that the EMU-1 will be compatible with your system, please identify the manufacturer of the gauges (VDO, Faria, US Marine, Yanmar etc...) and the range of values (40 to 140 degrees C, 0 to 5 Bar etc...). Once confirmed, refer to ...
Data not displayed from EMU-1
When the engine information you were expecting from the EMU-1 isn't available on your Multi-Function Display (MFD), we recommend checking the configuration settings of your MFD to ensure it has been setup correctly to receive data from the EMU-1. ...
How to Power the EMU-1
When the gauges are to remain in-circuit, the EMU-1 has to be powered from the same supply that is powering the gauges for the engine that it is monitoring. The best way to do this is to wire directly from the back of the positive and GND terminal ...
